A Hero's Tribute.Org is not currently a registered non-profit, however, I do not charge families for my services. I will be selling advertising space which can be a deductible business expense. All of the work that I do is voluntary. Advertising Sponsors help with expenses involved with our online memorials.
A Hero's Tribute was created to give families a place to come to remember their loved one no longer with them.
The grieving process is different for everyone. I know from losing my mom & dad that at first you are in shock and that's what gets you through the funeral.
Family and friends bring you food and help you as much as they can. That may last for up to two or three weeks. As time goes by, everyone returns to their normal schedule of work and other commitments. This sometimes leaves the families feeling alone in their grief.
I know from experience that it is sometimes comforting to hold our loved ones picture close to our hearts, as if to give them a hug. Sometimes families have video's they can watch to keep their loved ones memory alive.
It is my sincerest hope & prayer that A Hero's Tribute.org will be able to bring even the smallest amount of comfort to a family. Family and friends will be able to leave condolences and encouraging words as well. I have several families who visit and leave messages to their hero.
I know without a doubt that you will receive many blessings when you join with us to pay tribute to our country's fallen heroes.
