My sincere condolences go out to your family. I just want you to know he is a dear friend of mine who shared wonderful moments with me and my family. I never wanted to do this....but today is Father's Day and I look at a picture were you and me are with my son at the beach.

I will forever have you in my heart. I don't understand why the Lord doesn't want me with you... He knows I've tried still angers me till this day that I'm not with you. It hurts to write this but I just want your family to know how much you mean to me. I will visit you once I get the chance.....Love you Always Battle. AIRBORNE !!!

You were the greatest hero, and I know this is late 2013 from 2004 but I just learned about this site yesterday 10-17-13. You have inspired me to join the U.S. Army after when I'm out of high school, and I'm going to try and go for the 82nd Airborne just like you. I'm in Scouts almost an Eagle Scout, and I'm in the Civil Air Patrol trying to become a great leader just like you. You were a great friend, and I miss you and thank you for everything you have done for me and our country. Can't wait to see you again in heaven. Thank You! -Dexter T.
